Good Earth Landscaping has been providing quality horticultural services to Lake Charles and the surrounding areas for over 39 years. Founded by Austin Hebert in 1974, Good Earth has been family-owned and operated for the past 35 years. Joshua Hebert, Austin’s son, began working in the business part-time during high school and college and soon joined the company full time. Austin’s horticultural background is includes a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture Science and licenses and certification in horticultural counselor, pesticide applicator, licensed landscape comtractor through the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and State of Louisiana.
In 2013, Austin fulfilled another long-standing dream of opening a Garden Shoppe on the Good Earth property offering a variety of plants, pottery, and gardening accessories. The Garden Center will be open on a seasonal basis. Garden Center hours from March 1, 2013 to June 30, 2013 are Monday thru Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed on Sunday. When I'm not working in the field on landscaping or drawing up plans or working in the Garden Shoppe, I'm usually busy with my 5 grandchildren. Sometimes I have to go back to work just to rest! Also love to take a ride through the country on my Harley and play the keyboards and harp when time permits. 
When I'm not busy at Good Earth making plans for new jobs or out in the field supervising the landscaping crews, I'm spending time with my son, Brayden. It's amazing how a 1 1/2 year old can keep you on your toes! I love relaxing and spending time with friends and family in my spare time.
